SPECIES: White Oak presents a uniform pale coloring which allows the rich grain patterns and natural characteristics to give a floor an always interesting and distinctive personality. Its natural lighter fiber allows for a variation of light tones. In wide format, white oak will typically have a good presence of character and will always have a brushed texture.
GRADE: The Character grade features Prominent color variation and abundant natural wood characteristics, such as sound knots of all sizes, open knots of less than 5/64″ (2 mm) and knots filled with putty mineral streaks, surface checks, splits and a few others.
